GABI-Till: Data Management

- informs about the project and the different platforms within the project and
- communicates activities as public workshops etc.
As soon as GABI-Till DB has been established, results of our work will be presented. The latter will include information on identified mutant alleles with links to seed stock accession numbers and brief phenotypic description. At an advanced stage of the project web-based query interfaces will be implemented that will allow users to retrieve entries according to different query inputs. - records plant cultivation (sowing, sampling of plant material, pricking, binding up, bagging, drying of plants and harvesting of seeds),
- records phenotypic observations,
- records lab related data for samples (DNA preparation) and DNA probes,
- manages the seed stock,
- is accessible by all project partners via internet (web based, https, session management),
- controls access to data and specific activities by defined roles,
- is modular and easily extensible.
